Walking Tour of Colonial Antigua
Guests are met at Casa Encantada by a private tour guide to begin the half day walking tour of Antigua.  The tour will cover the architectural and historical highlights of this colonial city.      
Pacaya Volcano Hike
The tour starts with a morning transfer to the foothills of the active Pacaya volcano.  The hike then begins with a fairly strenuous hike thorugh the pine forest up to the sulfur smoking cone.  From the summit, enjoy great views of the northern valcanoes, the pacific lowlands and all the way to El Salvador.  Half way down, a picnic lunch is served with the impressive volcano in close sight.  A van waits at the base for the transfer back to Antigua.  A full day trip.
Tour of Chichicastenango Market
Guests are met at Casa Encantada by a private tour guide and driver to begin the two hour trip out to the highland town of Chichicastenango.  Your guide will take you to explore this famous market, both the local areas of the fruit, vegetable and everyday items as well as the craft area where you can find endless variety of beautiful textile, wooden and ceramic crafts.  Guests can also visit the famous St. Tomas Church where local Maya people come to perform Maya rituals within the Catholic church.  A full day trip.
Pacific Sailfishing - Deep Sea
Guests are driven down to the Pacific Coast Marina through the Antigua Valley past smoldering Volcanoes to the low coastal plains.  At the Marina they board a private yacht for a day of Deep Sea Fishing at its best.  Fishing is conventional rods but fly fishing is available for those who request it.  Full Day.
Golfing at La Reunion
La Reunion is located 11 miles from Antigua and is set on a former coffee plantation with four imposing volcanoes framing the property.  The golf course was designed by the world famous Pete & Perry Dye and is a beautiful challenge.  Casa Encantada's Front Desk can arrange a morning or afternoon round of golf.  The green fee includes the golf cart, golf balls and a locker for the day (golf clubs are also available). 

Lake Atitlan
Guests are met at Casa Encantada and are driven to Lake Atitlan for a full, beautiful scenic day trip.  Lunch at Casa Palopa or a boat to the village of Santiago to visit the Maya God Maximon are possible activities.  Enjoy views of this beautiful lake and surrounding volcanoes along the way.  Water and snacks are included.
Coffee Farm & Traditional Music and Costumes Museums
Guests are met at Casa Encantada by a private driver and guide and depart to the village of Jocotenago, just on the outskirts of Antigua where you can visit the local workshops of the traditional woodcarvers of the area, then transfer to Azotea Coffee farm and museums for a private guided tour of the Coffee Farm and the museums covering Mayan traditional music and costumes.  A Half Day Trip.
